Beautiful Kirkpatrick Park is located at the corner of Beatrice Street and Kirkpatrick Drive, off of South Cotton Street. It is located on almost 8 acres of land. The park boasts a large covered pavilion, walking trails, gardens, a small lake, and picnic benches. Opened in Spring 2010, the park has already hosted weddings, wedding receptions, parties, and various get-togethers.

The land and money to build the park were donated by C.L Kirkpatrick to honor his wife, Sallie Ann Matthews Kirkpatrick, who passed away during Hurricane Ivan in 2004.
