The Andalusia Area Chamber of Commerce's popular summer concert series continues on the lawn of Springdale! Muddy Waters will open the show at 6 p.m., followed by the 55 South Band. Admission is free.
The Adult Activity Center invites its participants to bring their grandhildren for a fun-filled fiesta. Activities will include limbo, corn hole and a mystery game. Lunch is served at noon, and prizes will be awarded at 2 p.m.

The City of Andalusia, in conjunction with the Covington Veterans Foundation, will host the Vietnam Traveling Memorial Wall from July 28-31.
The Wall will be escorted into town at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, and will be erected near the Covington Veterans Memorial on the campus of Andalusia City Hall. For those who want to participate in the escort, the entrance will be staged from the Covington County Schools Track and Field Facility on Hwy. 55 South.
Opening ceremonies will be at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, July 28. The Wall will be open 24/7 from that time until dusk on Sunday, July 31.

The Adult Activity Center is planning a trip to Alaska next spring. To learn more about it, plan to attend a meeting at the Center at 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 26. The AAC is located at 401 Walker Avenue, which is behind the Church Street Cultural Arts Centre.
Now in its second year, this event is open to walkers, bicyclers, golf carts, side-by-sides, trailers, and motorcycles. Prizes for best costume and decorations. Begins and ends at the Farmers Market on Historic Central Street.
